I’m finding this summer to be a time of not really wanting to do so much on my own. I live alone most of the time and it’s become normal after 30 plus years. I actually like living by myself but I’m craving the company of others – conversations, questions, inquiry … so am seeking that out more and more.
Life is richer when we can share with one another, it’s also really helpful and elucidating to hear each others experiences – it loosens what can become a grip of otherness, or feeling less than because of what we’re privately thinking or ruminating or from what is currently happening in our lives. Belonging and sharing is so fundamental to living a rich and healthy life.
As always, I love hearing from you – hope you are well,
