Embodied Mind: A Mindfulness, Contemplative and Somatic Psychology Deep Dive – A 4 Week Online Mentoring Group
4 Thursdays at 4 PM PST/ 7PM ESTMay 23 and 30, June 6 and 13
For too many years, meditation and mindfulness have been primarily a mind only practice, with little to no true homage paid to the body. As many of you already know, talk about the body isn’t being in the body – embodiment comes from direct experience and supportive, skillful guidance.
This 4 week online group is for those of you interested in a deeper dive into what embodied mindfulness practice can be – how it is essential Dharma practice; how it relates to inner awareness, interoception and somatic awareness; how it increases compassion; and how it is a complimentary intervention to work with strong emotions, burn out and stress, and compassion fatigue.
This 4 week online community group will include:
- A 20 minute guided embodied mindfulness practice
- Discussions around why specific practices were chosen
- Guidance for facilitating and integrating the practices
- Accountability for your own personal practice and development
- A new Sangha/community of like minded friends
Include a one individual 30-minute Zoom session with Jill (scheduled individually) for $50
